My name is Ramli John.
I’m a startup generalist, lean startup advocate, writer, startup mentor and speaker. And I love what I do!
I believe the only way to do great work is to love what you do. That’s why I use my time and swiss-army like skills in customer development, hacking, HTML/CSS/Ruby on Rails coding, hustling, marketing, digital strategy and leadership to work on problems that have the potential to make the world a better place.
I have a Bachelors of Mathematics in Computer Science and Optimization from University of Waterloo and a Master in Business Administration in entrepreneurship, strategy and marketing from Richard Ivey School of Business.
Education is great, but it’s not enough. I believe that learning is a process of asking the right questions, experimenting, observing, failing and then trying again. Anyone can outlearn and outwork themselves to success.
The three values that guide my work and life are love, faith, and hope. I will only associate myself with projects or people that I love and have faith and hope in.
Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have an interesting project that can change the world
I help early-stage startups for free over Skype and Google Hangout because I believe that entrepreneurs should help other entrepreneurs out, especially young, first-time founders. Go to www.bettercalljohn.com to get free 30-minute one-on-one mentoring.
